Services Teens will
Receive ?

We offer each resident
the opportunity to build a firm
foundation for her life with Jesus Christ.

Prenatal Education:
Various class offerings, such as: labor and birth, post partum
support, newborn care, newborn
massage, breastfeeding education and support.

Parenting Classes:
Topics such as: bonding, child safety, reading with your child, discipline,
healthy eating habits, etc. will be taught.

GED or Diploma Completion
will be a requirement of the program.

Life skills classes:
Various topics such as: budgeting, cooking, computers, driving lessons, preparing
resumes, etc. will be taught.

Counseling and Case
Management.

Transportation provided
to school, doctor visits, grocery store, etc.

Church: Girls must attend
a bible based Church at least one time per week.

Bible Study: Bible Study
will be held several times during the week

Family Environment:
Structured, loving, caring home. The girls will eat together at
a family table. They will learn about relationships,
communication, and trust. Not only with Christ, but with others. We HOPE that she will make life-long friends during her stay at
Hope House.
Length of Program
18 months to 2 years. Depending on the age of the teen, and her
needs.
How about
Medical Care ?
There are physicians that accept Medicaid insurance. The
children would be covered under
Hoosier Healthwise. There are many
resources available for
Hope House. The prenatal care the young
ladies will receive will be excellent. We will refer all babies to
Healthy Families, to ensure they are developmentally and
cognitively on track. They will also be covered under the
WIC
program. |
