Who will we
serve ?
All girls at
Hope House are between the ages of 16-21
years of age, these include pregnant teens in the third trimester of pregnancy, who
plan on keeping their baby, parenting teens, and those who may be pregnant
and parenting are
the target population for
Hope House. Applicants are
evaluated for appropriateness based on the following: willingness to
participate in the program, need for the program, and the staff’s
assessment of
Hope House ability to meet the applicants
needs.
We understand that many girls may have a history of
abuse (physical, mental, sexual, emotional, spiritual, alcohol, drugs, etc.);
however, we reserve
the right to deny admission for such extreme cases of emotional/anger
disorders that could disrupt the house and interfere with the well being
of the other residents. |
